Readiness is not fit

A high score does not tell you which franchise to buy

This score answers one question: are you in a position to buy a business now? It says nothing about which kind of business suits you. A buyer can be financially ready and still choose the wrong model for how they like to work.

Once you know your score, the Franchise Match Assessment looks at fit: whether you would rather sell to consumers or businesses, run a team or work lean, be hands-on or semi-absentee.

Questions about the score

How is the score worked out?

Each answer earns points within one of six areas. Each area is scored out of 100, and your overall score is the average of the six, so no single area can carry the result.

Do I have to give my contact details?

No. Your score appears on the page as soon as you finish. If you want a copy by email and to be paired with a consultant, you can send it afterwards.

Is there a credit check?

No. The questions use ranges only, and nothing you enter is used for credit or shared with franchisors, brokers or lead buyers.

What score do I need?

There is no pass mark. A lower score usually means timing, not a closed door: it shows what to work on first, and many buyers spend six to twelve months getting ready.
